What the user found
Their site said your financial data never touches their servers. A technical user connected his brokerage to test it. Minutes later he found his own account balances displayed on the developer’s website. The developer’s explanation was honest. The data flowed through their system to run the sync, it was not stored, it lived with the aggregator. All true. And all beside the point, because the promise was “never touches our servers,” and the user watched it touch their servers.
